Another Autumn in Buffalo Valley: A Pictorial

We were utterly convinced that last year would be our final autumn living in the park. Lo and behold, we get to experience one more before moving to our new homestead.

Even though we were certainly hoping to be moved by now, it's still kind of nice to spend just a little longer at this place before moving on.

While it hasn't been the best year for fall foliage, there is always beauty to be found...

Milkweed going to seed

White Heath Aster feeding some late season pollinators

Osage Orange

Marbled Orb Weaver

Spicebush

Aromatic Aster (Symphyotrichum oblongifolium)

Ian and Lucy

Blackberry

Faded goldenrod and blackberry foliage

Eastern Wahoo (Euonymus atropurpureus) fruit

Cascades below the dam

Ephemeral pond

Sneezeweed still in bloom

Walking with daddy

I will have a house update for your soon, I promise.

Be sure to get out and enjoy your autumn, wherever you are! :)
