October Litter Update

October babies are looking good!

Acer's look fantastic, as always.

At only 3 1/2 weeks, they have some serious heft to them (still no scale, unfortunately).

I think there is going to be some nice potential breeding stock in this litter, so I'm eager to see them grow.

Sumac's big litter has been doing okay.

Their growth rate has been MUCH slower than Acer's litter, and they've been having more health issues.

I'm not sure I'll keep any from this group to further my Creme back-crossing project, but they are still darn cute!

Some individuals are paler than others, and their coats and temperaments are more akin to Cremes as well.

We've now fallen into that beautiful happy medium of temperatures: just cool enough that I don't have to worry about heat stress, and warm enough that there are no frozen water bottles.

I love October!
